2012 UPCOMING EMS CLASSES:
We are excited to announce our upcoming EMS Class opportunities
for 2012. Below you will find the course listings and pricing. To register for any of these classes, you may call
either of the numbers listed above or stop by our office at 4818 Roberts Drive, Ashland, Kentucky. All classes,
except the conference mentioned below will be held at Ashland Community & Technical College, Roberts Drive Campus.
Please make
note that our location has changed. We are still located at the Roberts Drive Campus but in a new location. We
are now located in Building 5. If you need directions, please feel free to contact our office.
EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN - BASIC COURSE
Classes begin January 24, 2012
We offer two EMT Classes per semester that lasts four months
in duration (170 hours). The Day class meets three days per week from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, and the Evening class meets
three evenings per week from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Both classes meet on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. The cost of
this course is $785.00. The student is responsible for the purchase of the textbook and workbook and additional fees that
are required. Early registration is advised.
EMT
REFRESHER COURSE (24 HOUR REFRESHER COURSE WITH CPR RECERTIFICATION
Course dates for Spring 2012 are February 24, 25, 26 and April 20, 21, 22
We offer two EMT Refresher Courses per semester. All
EMT refreshers begin at 9:00 am and conclude at 5:00 pm daily and are held on consecutive Friday, Saturday and Sundays.
Additional time will be required for those wishing to recertify their CPR training. The cost for each course is $100.00
plus an additional $5.00 if CPR recertification is required for a CPR card.
PARAMEDIC REFRESHER COURSE (48 HOUR REFRESHER COURSE WITH CPR, ACLS, AND PALS RECERTIFICATION
Course dates for Spring 2012 are March
9, 10, 11 and March 16, 17, 18
We
offer one Paramedic Refresher Course per semester. All Paramedic Refreshers begin at 9:00 am and conclude at 5:00 pm
daily and are held on two consecutive weekends on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The cost for this course is $250.00 plus
an additional $5.00 if CPR recertification is required for a CPR card. This will incorporate CPR, ACLS, and PALS recertification
into the curriculum.

ASSOCIATE
OF APPLIED SCIENCE IN PARAMEDIC TECHNOLOGY
We are proud to announce that we will be offering an Associate Degree in Paramedic
Technology. This program will begin Fall 2012, but students can begin taking the General Education requirements any
time. If you are already a Licensed Paramedic, you may still enroll, take the General Education requirements and then
graduate with your degree. Please contact State Fire Rescue Training for more information about this degree program.

The mission of Fire Rescue Training is to plan, direct, and administer a quality,
comprehensive and uniformly delivered training program through the most efficient use of available resources to assist in
meeting the training needs of fire, rescue and other emergency services personnel so that lives and property may be saved
more safely and effectively. In addition, to provide health and safety training programs for industries, institutions,
government agencies and other such entities to assist in meeting their training needs mandated by federal, state and local
laws.
