State Fire Rescue Training - Area 10,
the Kentucky State Fire Marshall's Office and Catlettsburg Fire Department will be hosting a Fire Inspector's Class November
10 and 11 at the Area 10 Office located at the old Boyd County High School, 12307 Midland Trail Road, Ashland, beginning at
9am each morning. There is no cost to take this course and you are required to pass a test in order to get this certification.

Saturday, November 22, SFRT Area 10 will be conducting a house burn in Olive Hill. This is a great opportunity
for everybody. House burns are few and far between these days and we will make the most of this training. You
have to be 18 to particiate with no exceptions. You have to be clean shaven to make entry - NO EXCEPTIONS.
If you are coming, you will need full PPE, including SCBA and a spare bottle. We will meet at the Olive Hill Fire
Department at 8:00am for classroom and then go to the house. Please be on time or a little early that morning so you
